Solar Eclipse

Around noon, Moscow time, of 20 March 2015, a full solar eclipse started—which wasn't exactly 'full' for Moscow, but still took place in a surprisingly clear sky. At 13:20 the eclipse reached the maximum phase of 0.65, and in about an hour ended—successfully and without casualties.

As always, one could only safely watch the eclipse through darkening glasses (and similar devices), and taking pictures required using light-absorbing filters.
